Vice President of Strategic Messaging
In his role as Vice President of Strategic Messaging, Phil is responsible for delivering consistent and clear dissemination of GBX's visual, written and experiential brand across multiple external communication channels. These channels include media and press relations, development partners, preservation agencies, property and investor communications, social channels and advocacy.
Prior to joining GBX, Phil held various positions with Adcom. Adcom is a communications and creative agency. Phil opened and co-lead Adcom's office in Phoenix, AZ. Also while in Phoenix, he directed a marketing and brand development consultancy, devoted to small luxury hospitality brands.
Phil believes that great brands are great storytellers and behind the scenes, they work tirelessly to develop a distinct level of client comfort, trust and an overall brand experience that tells a genuine story.
He received his degree in Organizational Development from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA. Outside of work, Phil is active in youth development and environmental preservation, having served on the boards of the First Tee of Cleveland and MedWish International.
