Historic Information
The 1909 Albemarle Inn is within the historic Grove Park District of Asheville, and was built for Dr. Carl V. Reynolds, a native of Asheville and son of an early Buncombe Country medical practitioner. The house was one of the first built in an area of Asheville known as Proximity Park. Featuring elaborate classical ornamentation, the Inn is a prime example of Neo-classical Revival architecture in the city.
