Shelby Perkins Triick has over 20 years of experience in business development and creating growth opportunities for clients. As Managing Director of Business Development, she is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with all GBX Group stakeholders and expanding into key market areas in the southeast. Shelby works closely with Investor Relations to manage investor reporting and communications.

Prior to joining GBX Group, Shelby served as Director of Business Development at the accounting firm of HLB Gross Collins in Atlanta. She has also served as Director of Business Development at Engineering Consulting Services Mid-Atlantic in Richmond, Virginia, and Atkins Engineering in Atlanta.

Shelby values being an active participant in her community. She volunteers with Reins of Hope assisting children and adults with physical, mental, emotional, and social challenges through equine-assisted activities and therapies. In 2020 Shelby was recognized by the Atlanta Best Self Magazine for her community involvement as one of “2020 Over 40 and Fabulous Super 6”. She is a founding member and Past President of Ellevate Atlanta, an organization dedicated to investing in women through all stages of their careers. Through her work with Ellevate, she was selected to participate in the White House United State of Women Summit in Washington, D.C. Shelby previously served on the Board of Advisors for Cobb Senior Services, as a board member of the Doraville Downtown Development Authority, and as a member of the Atlanta Regional Commission Strategic Implementation Plan’s Livable Sub-Committee.

Shelby received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in International Affairs from Kennesaw State University.
