2125 Superior Living
The two historic buildings were redeveloped into 57-residential market-rate apartments with common services and amenities on the lower level, and an internally connected and street-front accessed full-service restaurant and bar (Green Goat). The residential units opened in December 2020 with the Green Goat anticipated for Spring 2021. Dedicated resident parking is north of the building on Rockwell Avenue.
In conjunction with our development partner, Ethos Capital Partners, LLC, 2125 Superior Living was executed in two phases. Phase 1 was the selective demolition, including removal of the non-historic courtyard and rear additions, as well as all non-historic partitions and finishes throughout the interior, to allow exposure of the remaining historic fabric and its comprehensive evaluation. Phase 2 was the complete exterior and interior rehabilitation, including masonry repairs, window reinstatement and replacement, as well as all interior work to complete the conversion to residential use. Additionally, the existing stairs and elevators were also retained, with a new corridor created to connect them.
